**I was hoping for one point if that tonight due to our injury status and low and behold what a surprise. The injury list has me concerned once again.
**The Ottawa Senators' rebuild is in full swing as Mike Fisher is on his way to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Nashville's first-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft and a conditional pick in the 2012 Draft.
**I wouldn't be surprised if he got 2 games just to set an example but I'd be ok if nothing came of it. It seemed like an accident. However it was very careless.
**really not impressed with gardiner. reilly at least knows how to defend, but gardiner.... turn over machine and plays too aggressive all the time.
**honestly i dont think bernier has done bad in any of the games last game against the avs one of the goals was kinda lucky and one was poor defense so as of now it looks like we got the best of the bernier trade
**so leafs fans...is Bernier the real deal? or do you guys think reimer will step up and try to take back number 1 spot? I personally think they'll be a good goalie tandem with equal amounts of games
**I've been saying this since two games ago. Don't jump on the Toronto hype train.Bernier has only out played Reimer in three and a half games, whereas Reimer has out played Bernier last season and in this preseason. Reimer has only had one bad game because the D was utterly crud. He's far better than what his numbers say about him right now.
**Well now, no one said Carlyle was a statistical coach. You'd think after ending last year with the worst corsi in the league, Carlyle would adjust his system. Well he didn't. He's not going to either. Carlyle clearly runs his team without taking inputs from the coaching staff or players around him. Everyone would have to blind or !gnorant to not notice and tell him these obvious flaws.
**If you noticed most of the shots are from the outside or tough angles. It is fairly easy for the goalies to block those ones. If you look at our shots, most of them are from quality angles. True this shouldn't happen and isn't the best way to win a game. It works, though. Also, our goalies are there to bail us out.
**Carlyle's supposed system for pushing shots to the outside doesn't work. All it does is add a whole lot of shots from further away. The shot counts for other ranges are basically the same.
**I mean, what happened to the team we saw in Games 2, 4, 5, 6, and most of 7 in the Boston series? Why cab't we play like that all the time?
