**I liked how philly would agressively manouver attempts to a transition game and at times had the leafs chasing their tails...however it did come accross unaturally forved as if rehearsed and lacked the speed, finesse, and skill set to become effective most of those efforts turned into shots on net from too far out that bernier could easily read, ending any mommentum from the transition.

** Overall, the Flyers look pretty good. Coburn's still leaving guys open, the goalie didn't make any spectacular saves, but the flow was in their favor and Mason looked good. Just not amazing. The puck made it to the other end and was played well, which was a big first step.

With a little work, they stand a chance this year. I don't like doing too well in the beginning anyway, getting things done from January on is what translates into playoff mode. Just can't do too bad, either.

**Man, I was terrified for an instant as I saw Lupul fall and pull Schenn down. It was starting to look like the Parros-Orr fight, but Lupul took a stance and shifted to throw Schenn over his hip for a flip rather than making him fall straight down.

**Still have the slowest D and the slowest play in the defensive zone. D have to resort to penalties to keep up with the other team and turnovers galore getting the puck out of the zone.

Bernier had a heck of a game and probably the only reason he Leafs didn't lose the game during the first half of the game. We lost to a tired Leafs team while on the PP for essentially a period's worth of time.

**They had to take penalties because of slow defense? Timonen had the only two penalties. First one was a necessary penalty to take after the puck bounced over his stick at the offensive blue line. JVR would have had a breakaway if he didn't interfere. Good penalty. The second penalty Timonen had to take because the Flyers had an empty net. If Mason was still in goal Timonen wouldn't have needed to hook Lupul.

**no he was actually good. Toronto was really bad the first half of the game but Bernier bailed us out big time. The Flyers had 8 PP's I think and scored on 1 chance. They can do stuff on the PP, but can't seem to get it done on 5-on

**No. He didn't really have a chance on any of the goals against. He didn't really make any great saves though. Just stopped what he was supposed to. Wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.
