**I only saw the last 10 mins of the game, but it seems like we might be getting back to Coyotes hockey! It also seems like Greiss had a great night which is great news because we need a stable backup.
**Greiss looked pretty good. Nice job stopping the penalty shot. Seems like Griess is a very capable backup...at least able to give Smith an occasional rest with a good chance of winning. Nice job!
**Only thing worse than watching anothe pathetic performance by the Flyers is having to listen to the homers Jackson and Coats make excuse after excuse for these players. They can't pass, they can't score on a breakaway or penalty shot, they take stupid penalties. This team couldn't score a clean goal against a no body back up who has only played 45 games in 6 years.
**Most teams pull their goalie when down by a goal in the last minutes of a third, that's a weak move, real teams try to tie the game down a man. It seems like we take a dumb penalty every game with less than 2 mins remaining
**That was a horrible call. The red was standing right in front of him. He had to have seen that the stick got caught on the boards, and that's why the guy fell. But, of course not. You'd think that the refs wouldn't make a bad call like that when a team is down by one goal in the last 2 minutes.
**Pretty funny that everyone was all worried about the Flyers goaltending and defense this year, and in actuality it's the offense that looks horrible so far. They can't make passes. They can't catch passes. They can't even set up a power play. They don't know when to shoot the puck. Wingers cant break the puck out once getting it along the side boards. Embarrassing.
**What happened to Berube saying he was going to hold players accountable? Rosehill back in the lineup tonight after a stupid penalty. Rinaldo with two bad penalties, one leading to a goal, gets another $hift only to take another supid penalty.
**I agree, Rinaldo clearly should have been benched, and Rosehill should have been scratched for Newbury. I would say Laughton but of course they returned him to juniors after not even suiting him up for one game. It's also about time we see Gus in the lineup, maybe he could help their struggling offense.
**Philly needs to get back to simplifying their offense. Work the puck up to the points or high slot and get shots through and crash the net, go to the dirty areas and bang in rebounds. Keep shooting and creating traffic. These fancy passing plays just aren't working, it's getting frustrating to watch.
**flyers can win, but they'll definitely have to be better than last game. yes they got the two points but thomas handed them 2 goals on a silver platter, don't expect smith to do that. plus mason played solid with minimal defensive support. when you've got the likes of kopecky, goc, shore, etc playing against you, you can get away with that but not with ribeiro, boedker, vrbata, vermette, etc.
**very good and aggressive so far. hated him before when he gooned it up 100% of the time but i appreciate more that hes cleaned up his act a bit and actually is effective at drawing penalties.
**He said nothing about race, the guy just happens to be black. If Manutz doesn't like Simmonds it could be for any reason. The only thing racist is you assuming that it's a race thing just because of Simmonds race.
**I hope tonight's the night Giroux gets a point and I really hope Voracek is on his line. Not because of the chemistry they have but it gives the opponents another weapon to think about. Simmonds and Hartnell basically play the same game and are pretty easy to shut down if you have the right defenseman, which the Coyotes do. Simmonds had chemistry with Vinny in the preseason and has played with Schenn in the past. I hope Berube keeps playing Couts the way he has. That game against Florida was one of the most complete games I've ever seen him play. Anyway, a win would get some momentum flowing for tomorrow night in Detroit!
**I hate to be in Germany. I only can see the games at the next day and I can`t sleep. But dear Toronto fans, please look at your own team, they also have problems. And the really important Thing is that the Flyers will rush them.
**I am looking at my own team, we are plagued with injuries. Philly will take a couple of weeks or months to learn Berube's system, and then you can look forward from there. The season is still young.
**I love all the hate from leafs fans.. ur team was trash for the last decade, one playoff appearance and yall get so excited like a child at chucky cheese. . Lol.. flyers make it further in the playoffs than leafs, if the leafs make it
**That's actually wrong. Despite the 3 goals in San Jose he had a .940 save percentage, so he's actually play really well in 3/4 games. In the islanders game he also wasn't getting any help out in front.
**Smith had three good performances and just one bad (which wasn't his fault), so he's not to blame.
**Really surprised the Flyers are struggling to score goals. I'm sure that will change real soon though. Go Flyers!!!!
