**Yeah they need to move a team that sells out every single hockey game...you are a loser and have no clue about anything..You are dumb enough to think that of any team in the USA, that Buffalo is one that should move. People were there when it started and left angry, I was one of them. If you can't tell why people left, then you don't understand the game either

**Those who attended last night's fiasco need to demand a 100 percent refund. Start putting SATISFACTION GUARANTEED on the backs of the tickets, Sabre fans. In the event of future non-competitive outings like this one, show the box-office folks the SATISFACTION GUARANTEED message; they will be obligated to honor that.

**Can someone at NHL.com please PLEASE paste a picture of Ronald McDonald over Luongo's picture?? He's depressing the heck out of me. He looks like someone stole his puppy.

**one of the things that hurts the most about all this is how close we were to winning a cup about 6 years ago. we have been slowly declining since then, and nothing good has happened to this team since that season 6 years ago. every single thing has been bad. when will they move in the right direction again? they had built such a strong team back then who didn't get it done, then it just fell apart, typical buffalo fashion. it makes me want to bash my head against a brick wall.

**2 points in the standings is never a waste of time Matt, thanks for the thought though. Good luck to you in Buffalo. We in Vancouver can feel for you as we had decades where the Canucks were a league cellar team.

**Appreciate it haha I think ownership is going to cave into fan pressure here eventually this season and big changes are coming. I did enjoy watching you guys play and possess the puck, the Canucks seem to quietly have added more depth to the roster. Nobody is talking about you guys as a top team in the west (at least here on the east they aren't) so no pressure, it's a little different this year. Maybe this is the year!

**You're talking about Rick Jeanneret, & he is 1000 years old. He's been doing Sabre games for 43 years or so. Many in Buff. think he is an institution, but I'm with you. RETIRE!!! He's turned into a lazy play-by-play man who doesn't do his homework. His "signature" phrases are SO old & lame now. The Sabres need a clean sweep of their front office from GM to coach, to asst. coaches, right down to the scouting staff. They need an infusion of "freshness" & that includes sweeping aside Jeanneret.

**I will tell you why. HEART, or rather lack there of!!!! Their decline started when the gave away Drury & Briere. If they had kept that team together and upgraded with a decent free agent or two they would have claimed Lord Stanley's Cup. Their management team instead opted for the safe option and are now paying the price.......or rather Sabre fans are paying that price.

**This rebuild will obviously last a while and could be lead to the road of nowhere. There are some talented youngsters for the defence but here is no young player with star potential among the offence prospects. Girgensons, Larsson and Armia will be 2nd or 3rd line players and Grigorenko can end everywhere from 1st line NHL player to minor league disappointment. However, he never should play together in a line with Scott and McCormik. Actually he should not play in the NHL at all because he needs another environment to develop his skills and his hockey character. You can not bring these kids not together with a bunch of AHL players or goons (like McCormik, Flynn, Porter, Scott, Kaleta and others as well). What can you learn play together with Scott and McCormik? Who shall you give the puck when you spend ice-time with these guys? At least Miller is pushing his own value from game to game. Unfortunately the market for goalies is very restricted these days. He and Vanek needs to wait for the transfer period or maximum to the end of season before they`ll Buffalo without any doubt. The only remaining asset on the Buffalo roster is Christian Ehrhoff. Unbelievable he still managed a plus one in this team so far, even he played around 25 minutes per game. Who else of the "experienced" players has some real value, when Miller and Vanek left the team? Other teams are rebuilding or still develop, too. Looking to their talent level I cannot see any bright future for the Sabres in the next 3-7 years. The Islanders, Oilers and Panthers are loaded with talent and potential star power (plus some other teams with at least the same amount of talent as Buffalo). And the other established teams have a much better management with better choices when it comes to select and trade players. Without fresh ideas and some new people this rebuild will only lead to play-off participation (max. second round) in maybe 3-5 years but never ever to the SC. Sorry I´m just realistic based on the current staff ans situation. Even the number one pick is in danger because some other teams obviously have the same idea or the same lack of talent.

**Lu is actually having a pretty good October so far, something he is not known for in his career. The boys played pretty good tonight, almost felt bad for Miller at times because of the way the guys in front of him were playing. Lu's new mask is pretty fresh too!

**That statement tells me that Darcy has intentionally told him to throw the games so they can get some good picks. Can it get more obvious? Rolston is no dummy and if they continue to throw these games they are eventually going to get fined by the league. I think they are now practicing on how to miss passes and shoot the puck directly into the mid section of the goaltender. A team cannot play this poorly unless they are intentionally throwing the games.

**IF they really are throwing games for better draft picks there is a serious flaw in that plan. Darcy Regier is the GM and he will be picking said draft picks! After 17 years we should see what exactly he has done and he should no longer be selecting players. He needs to go and he needs to go NOW!!!! I do not believe they are throwing games. I do believe Regier is so horrible that this team has been in ruin for a while now. He gets the wrong players, and he gets the wrong coach. Regier is the wrong GM to have for any team except pee-wee maybe.

**I wouldn't want even pee-wee hockey teams to be subjected to Darcy's BS. Really... if Darcy were any kind of a GM at all, he would've demanded a commitment from Tom Golisano/Larry Quinn after the 2006 Cup run. He would've called for the retention of some of their top players, and made efforts to land top-flight players who could push Buffalo over the top and into the Stanley Cup Winner's Circle. He should also have added, "If you're not willing to make that commitment with me now, I'll have my resignation ready for you within the hour." However, none of these things took place. The one thing to take from this: Darcy Regier is only about Darcy Regier; he is not about the Sabres' winning the Cup, nor is he about delighting the fans.

**So the Sabres score four goals the other night so that means that they have used up 4 games worth of goals. Therefore, they have to get shut out three times to balance out their one goal per game production average. C'mon Rolston, you can at least let the team win at home every once and awhile. Who in their right mind is going to pay for this sloppy uninspired effort of mediocrity? It is truly painful to watch the Sabres play.

**i know firing darcy isn't going to get us to start winning, but it has to happen. we need fresh decisions. everyone in the city of buffalo hates this guy and the only way to shake things up in that city is getting rid of the guy who got us here in the first place. I'm really worried that his "we have to suffer for a little bit" quote is basically saying "i get to stay here for another 4 years while you suckers watch and hope my plan turns out the way he wants it to." The energy of the organization this year, no matter who was playing, would be completely different if darcy was gone instead of ruff. but now he's the hated king on the throne that can't be touched because of an inside deal with pegula

**I believe Pegula was involved with that Penn State incident and Darcy must be blackmailing him. That is the only way Darcy could possibly keep his job. Look at what he has done to this team.

**Let us remember that our best player (Burrows) is going to return. Also Kesler is beginning to improve. I think we will sneak into the playoffs and then I'll hope Lu can steal a couple of games. Santorelli & Richardson are getter better by the week. Bye the way if our guys manage to figure out that there are often a lot of rebounds near the San Jose net we might actually win a game from them.

**Went to the game tonight, Vancouver is my second favorite team, and has been since I was 8, back in the days of Garth Butcher, Tony Tanti, and Kirk Mclean. Only time I don't pull for the Canucks is against Buffalo. Tonight being one of those nights, I have to say 10 rows up give you a whole new appreciation for how awful of a team we really are. They are unskilled, gutless, and appear as if they have totally forgot how to play the game they have played their whole lives. Everybody there other than Rip Simonick needs to be fired. Sorry Ron, I know you're not getting much of a chance, but we need a fresh new look from top to bottom, and Lindy squared is not the answer, and I don't have any faith in Darcy.

**From an ex-Sabre fan who has long since rooted for Chicago... you can be glad that your Oilers(even though it was over 20 years ago the last time they did it) have several Stanley Cups they can be proud of.
