**Hawks move the puck so well. Controlled the play most of the game! Very happy with Poulin played a great game in net for the Islanders. Nice win Hawks!

**The Islanders system is definitely not what I am used to seeing. They appear to be all over and smother plays then all of a sudden we get a chance.

**Don't really get the concept of letting Poulin play against possibly the best team in the league. I think it would have worked to let Nabby get the start but whatever. The Isles are getting outplayed so far. Can't get out of the zone when the hawks apply some pressure. I believe 2 goals resulted from that pressure and a tired isles unit.

**i know it's early in the year but i don't understand how last year the hawks pp was terrible and the pk was awesome and so far this year the pp is second best in the league and the pk is last overall

**This early in the year it can be skewed by who they have played, and the Caps make a living on the PP, and the Bolts aren't to shabby either. Hopefully it will settle out with time.

**Buffalo needs forwards who can skate and score. What would it cost the Sabres to acquire Michael Grabner and Brock Nelson? How about Jhonas Enroth and Christian Ehrhoff?

**For the Isles, this is a lithmus test to see if they can beat one of the top 5 teams in the league. For the Hawks, this better be a wake-up call after throwing away 3 points in the last two games.

**Hope the Isles are ready to skate and play great defensive hockey. Expect the Isles to ice the puck a lot and play 4 men back defending....waiting to spring Grabner for breakaway chances....lol...maybe Poulin stands on his head tonight..I doubt it...we'll see. Lets go Islanders!!! get the game to OT to salvage a point guys. Prove me wrong!!

**Poulin in tonight instead of Nabby? Idk about this one, however Poulin has to prove he can hold his own in the bigs so may as well do it in the spotlight - but with a back to back and coming off a fast start you'd think Poulin would get the second half of the back to back Vs Nashville - I trust Cappy and our D has been solid so no fear, just wish Nabby was in to keep the team poised in front of an always raucus United Center vs the defending champs who aren't exactly happy with their start.

**Hawks took another step getting their form back from last season with the game against the Blues. Great goaltending by Halak won that game. Hawks are no strangers to Nabbie with his days with the Sharks. Hossa and Sharp looked like they are getting going now and the rookies are playing well. Let's have some fun with the game tonight. GO HAWKS!!!

**With the exception of the Panthers and Rangers who still need to find themselves, all teams and more or less capable of victory anywhere. If we don't play with urgency we may lose-big time. Islanders are an excited bunch to be taken very seriously. Go Hawks (and welcome back Kabi -will be nice to see you in net again)
