Battered Wild outscore Blackhawks

**Marc Rivera: Blackhawks were very smart hiring Stan Bowman as GM. His Dad Scotty is the best coach in NHL History! Took Blues to Finals 1st 3 yrs they were a team. Won 5-6 Cups w/ Canadians. Went to P-berg in Office. Won against North Stars in '91. Badger Bob died and Scotty coached Pens to 2nd Cup in a row. This 1 against Chicago! Went to Detroit, won 3 Cups. After winning '03 Cup he put his skates on and took Cup around rink. He was 72 then. After B-Hawks hired son, Scotty had to help. 2 Cups for Chi. MN is starting to show how good they are! Watching replay now. Go F***ING WILD!!

**Kevin: Blackhawks have not beaten a team from their division yet this season. They also have 4 regulation wins in 11 starts, which is only better than 3 teams in the WC. Defensive lapses, bad power play and PK contributing to mediocre start. The Hawks look like they are dominating teams, but not scoring enough goals. Given up more third period leads already than they did all last year. Time to wake up, boys.

**stamkrovechkin: Everyone seems to be down on the Hawks. It just wasn't their night. They had way more quality scoring chances and Backstrom stood on his head. Looks like that took a mental toll on the Hawks and they started making undisciplined mistakes which ultimately cost them the game.

**stamkrovechkin: They only showed 1 replay out of 5 goals. That is pretty lame. And they didn't show any different angles of the deflections with traffic in front of the net so you have no idea what happened. You are correct in being disappointed.

**Alex: Really enjoy this matchup. Another win monday might offset the embarresment from last year playoffs when the hawks destroyed us. Fun to watch granlund find his rythm! Really like watching pomniville put it in the net too! Hard rooting against the hawks tho, basically everybody 2nd favorite team in MIN anyways. Ill cheer for every goal scored monday. Good game hawks!

**the_biting_thing_just_looks_silly: Yeah...always a convincing argument to me. Talk trash because a team that you had literally zero influence on has won the cup a few times. I'm a Sharks fan, and I want them to win the cup, and if/when they do, I won't be talking s*** to anybody because I didn't do a single d**ned thing to help them, other than to be a fan.

**patersong52: The Hawks penalty killing is bad because of the changes from last year so it makes sense to stop testing it so often and start taking smarter penalties. Hossa took 2 bad penalties as did Sharp and Kruger. A little discipline might be a good start. Hossa looked very slow last night. Sharp looks like he needs some help out there. He comes in the other teams zone always by himself trying to score after his linemates have left on a change. Give the Wild credit they played a smart patient game as did the Bolts.

**yardog59: An absolute pathetic display by the Hawks. Stupid turnovers, an abysmal PP and shoddy defense. The Wild outplayed them at every angle of the game. Backstrom made some terrific saves, still can't believe Sharp couldn't elevate the puck for what looked like an easy goal. Tough break for him, he played a great game. Can't wait for tomorrows game.

**Il_Padre: Hope those two goals from Pommers-Granny(-Nino, not on the scoresheet) axis will boost the line's chemistry/confidence on providing more goals. That's what Wild's been lacking i.m.o. I have this little feeling that they could turn into a very dangerous line once they start succeeding more like as in this game. It could also boost Granny's confidence and bring that "joy" to his game which was seen some years ago in the European ice. And about Granny's scoring. I think the most important thing for him is get his game going (has improved a lot lately) so he can feed Pommers and Nino the way he did this game. (Though I wouldn't mind him scoring a goal here and there..) Anyway very nice to see Wild scoring. Keep it up!

**jamm123: The Hawks definitely out played the Wild. Lucky Backstrome had a good night. Chicago lost this one much like the Wild have lost a few this seaso,ie out chance out shoot and still not win.. Nice to see the Wild capitalize on the chances they did get this time around, should be interesting Monday.

**FractalRabbit: Good game, Wild! You deserved the win! Hopefully the Blackhawks will get over whatever semi-slump they are in to give you a more competitive game Monday.... and major kudos to Backstrom... The majority of this game saddened me, so I didn't watch all of it, but when I did, all I saw was Backstrom lording over our offense. Here's to a rematch Monday and our budding rivalry! Cheers! Go Hawks!

**clubstav: TLC, there is NO "Internet gang", as you describe it , to "come and get you". No one is after you. Its just that every time you trash people on these boards I am going to call you a pansy impersonating a Hawks fan. In earlier posts you say you support the Bulls and Cubs since 1960. DONT' DO IT PLEASE! So, Todd, dont' hide behind the mascara and the skirt and get out of the closet

**Hawks2013Leafs1967: Hawks just have to win this next game against the Wild. I will be very concerned if they have no wins in 4 games against Western teams ( 2 vs. St. Louis + 2 vs. Minnesota )....need to win in their own Division & Conference as well.

**Anonymous: We shole that game but we'll take it just like any other team would. The wild have out shot almost every team that they lost to this year. One thing I will say is the wild are great at home and the hawks will be flying on monday! Should be a great game!
