Pominville powers Wild past Canadiens
**Habsdiehard204; sure, Montreal lost, but I really like the effort i saw in the 3rd. From being down 3-1 to dominating the game and fighting back to tie it up, if that effort would have been there for 60 mins we would have had the W. Regroup and let's win tonight boys !**Frederic Parent; keep dreaming about your Habs they are nothing more than a nightmare !
**WuTangForever; Granlund and Pommer...loving it! nice to see a game with barely any penalties too. galchenyuk is gonna be a beast, and harding is the man. that is all
**Habsfanboy1; they traded for pominville and parise contract averages over 7.5m a year for 13 years ya briere was kind of a bad signing tho but i guess i rather have briere healthy than DD
**tim caskanette; price is doing good habs still out muscled and out finished.....they need a couple of gritty scoring forwards or they will quickly become toast this season.
**DutchFan1978; When will people start understanding that it is time to swap out Price! So many claims he is doing really good this year, yet another proof he has a long way to go!
**Anonymous; I hope you start understanding how good Granny really is. Like in this game: excellent timing and game reading! He did just that in Finland and he does it NHL too. Struggling last season was just that he wasn't strong enough.
**Finnmaniac; Subban is one skilled skater, a pleasure just to see him use that speed. That bomb of a shot he has ain't bad either. So glad to see Brodin and Coyle back, Ballard having a solid game and Granny #64 really demonstrating his confidence. Let's go Wild!
**Ryan Heinrichs; i think montreal played a good game, and they dominated alot of the puck-play and possession time....a win just wasnt in the cards tonight though....unfortunately.....hopefully tomorrow they can derail the avs a bit and take the win
**Joel Fisher; This Minnesota announcer is just unbearable. The guy screams at every Wild goal like it's a series clinching OT game winner even if it's some junker goal that means nothing in the game.
**Michael Blaize; The announcer is just fine I think, calls a decent game and is usually excited when either team scores but a I am surprised you can hear him over the random babble of their no talent color guy. Always stepping on calls.
**cdwang168; The quicker we buy out DD and Gionta's contracts, and replace Pleks with a REAL first line center, the better. You are paying millions on these guys to create nothing and shoot blanks? We can't just rely on the EGG line, PK, and Price, if they are not on form, we are done!!!
**A_large_tripple_tripple; Why would we buy out Gionta's contract when he's only got a year left? And we have our first line center on the team already..Eller has been taking that spot for a couple weeks now, Plekanec has been on the 3rd line. Either way we need Pleky as he's our jack of all trades player and he's very important to the team.
**Anonymous; I think Pleky is our best center and our best overall player. The habs would be literal garbage without him. That being said I think we should keep him as our 2nd line center and get rid of DD for a solid 3rd line center. Also, I like how Gio's been playing this season and I don't really see a reason to get rid of him before the end of the season
**Il_Padre; Wild is playing well now with Pommers-Granny-Nino finding that chemistry Yeo's been talking about for a looong time. Actually since 2012-2013. What is the game going to look after 1st line finds chemistry like that? I bet not bad :)
**Cole d'arc; After years of established scorers seeing their offensive numbers plummet upon arriving in Minnesota (Demitra, Heatley, Parrish, Havlat), Pominville seems to have finally broken the mold. Nice to see. He's the new Brian Rolston!
**Il_Padre; There's a good point. If you consider what he's been through I think he's shown what a fighter he is and can overcome almost anything. I think those are qualities which are needed in such a olympic cup run. Although Can has many quality goaltenders, it would be shame at least to not consider Harding.
**Brett Tuma; Good job not knowing what you're talking about. High pressure? How about stepping in against the blackhawks in the playoffs last year after Backstrom was hurt in the warmups? And the only times he has really been out were due to people running into him. He had a tiny injury this year that put him out for a couple games, oh boy.
**Nate Davies; Pominville is habanero hot right now. I can't remember the last time he was so on point. Great start to the season. This is exactly why that injury late last season hurt so much. But it's a new year and the Wild have been connecting of late. The Chicago game aside, Minny has been really coming together. Even just getting those two against the Hawks built important momentum into tonight's game. And Harding? What can I say? Not his best, but the guy's been consistent night in and out.
