Quick goals lift Senators to home win vs. Canadiens

**Lines in this game was soo bad, it was this: Galch - Eller - Gallagher Pacioretty - Plekanec - Gionta Bournival - Desharnais - Bourque Moen - White - Parros like what the heck? quit changing the line up in panic mr Therrien.

**Take Markov or Subban off the power play....and then...The Habs no longer have one...lol

**Lehner frightens me...everyone who thought trading away Bishop was a terrible move is now eating their words. Ottawa knew what cards they held for their future in goaltending.

**Idk Anderson seems shaky, and Ottawa could have had a crazy Bishop-Lehner duo this year.

**I hated this game so much, so many opportunities and Montreal just couldn't finish. We have Gallagher taking a penalty every 5 minutes, frustrated getting bullied all over the ice, and not one Canadien stood up for him. Subban again gets the puck at the blue line, skates around the opposing team, into the high slot, and AGAIN tried a no look pass. Shoot the puck Subban!. We're at 4 consecutive losses now. I don't know if it's from all the line changes or what, but these guys need to start finding each other and finishing. I will be eagerly awaiting for the real Montreal Canadiens to show up next game and completely dominate. Go Habs Go!

**you have to love the way chris neil got right up and skated to the dressing room after taking that puck...most guys would lie there and bleed....yeah we could use this guy....

**Anderson single-handedly beat us in the playoffs, now Lehner seems to have our number during the season. The problem is we have way too many floaters on this team, we need that legitimate sniper whose a raw goal-scorer.

**I don't think it was Anderson scoring 4.5 GPG on Price last spring, but yeah, our goalie's are great.

**I love how you habs fans try to use excellent performances by goalies as a way to make yourselves feel better. The Sens's style of play leads to tons of shots on us because our goalies would rather see the puck than have a botched block attempt lead to a goal. Just look at Borowiecki's goal for why this style has its advantages...

**I'm happy about the win, but hopefully the Sens will start gelling as a team over the next couple of games. Last night the Habs could have run up the score at least 3-0 in the first period with all the give-aways from Ottawa. Lehner really stole the game for us last night. I honestly and absolutely mean no disrespect when I say this, but our next two games are against a pair of struggling teams in Florida and Philadephia. This is a perfect chance for the coaching staff and the players to put in 110% effort to get some solid wingers for Spezza. The guy look really unengaged last night.

**Completely agree. Spezza is my favourite player on the Sens but with Ryan now having chemistry with Turris we need Spezza to find some new linemates. Unfortunately I feel Maclean has been more punishing Spezza than working him with the last few linemates he's paired up with Spez. He needs Michalek back up on his line, even though Milo's play hasn't been amazing. You can't formulate chemistry if you keep breaking up teammates.

**Hey is McLean taking a page from Carlyle or something? What's with the Sens getting badly outplayed, outshot and winning?! Its an eerie feeling isn't it Sens fans?

**Get badly outshot on a regular basis and find a way to win with a depleted roster. That was coach of the year material last year for you guys. Maybe this year is Carlyle's year?

**Not really. We have a young D core and two elite goaltender's. Our coaching system literally has guys avoiding shots instead of blocking them so the goalie's can get a better look.

**Spezza not being punished ,that's illogical,He had the most ice time of any forward for Ottawa. You can't mess with The Turris/Ryan line right now. That leaves Spezz with basically no one to play with.Michalec and Zbandjad are not that good this year..at least Zbad has an upside to him in future years

**its almost funny...the excuses i hear the last few weeks...too many games against the west.....coach is no good......not playing subban enough....we have too many injured player...at least some of us know whats really wrong...WE NEED A COUPLE OF AT LEAST AVERAGE SIZED FORWARDS WITH GRIT AND A SET OF HANDS....

**Seems like the Sens are our kryptonite. With that being said, enough of these fire Therrien thoughts. He considerably improved our team last year and the season is still young. As long as the Habs make the playoffs, which one can easily predict, nous sommes tres bien..

**Habs are regular season heros. I don't like saying it because I like the Habs (hell I like the Leafs, but don't tell anyone) The scouts, the front office, whatever the reason for having such a small team, needs a slap in the face.

**Lehner finally making proper headlines, this kid is going to be something special. This guy has that mentality that losing just isn't an option. Yes, I know, most players on this level has that mind-set atleast to some extent but Lehner absolutely craves it. That combined with his size and raw skill is a new Lundqvist in the making I'm sure of it!

**Letting in a goal is not an option for Lehner, he gets angry every time it happens. At least he somewhat keeps his cool now. He was sent down to the AHL for his temper... I think he even punched Gallagher in the face last night. Can't blame a goalie for having a competitive drive though. Bad penalties are one thing but the Sens often look like they have no will to play and can be very flat at times. Guys like Conacher, Lehner and Smith who all sometimes show their emotions can be good for this team as long as they don't step over the line too much. Just my opinion though.
